We are pleased to offer a one-hour, complimentary online learning unit on Specifying Architectural and Interior Photography to architects, builders, interior designers, and other design industry professionals.

What you’ll learn

Photography can provide the “next best thing” to visiting a site, and having effective photographs is a key part of documenting your project, winning awards, getting published, and landing your next project. But getting the best and most cost-effective results from your photography requires advance preparation and a good understanding of your business’s PR needs. This learning unit will give you the knowledge and tools you need to specify the photos you need, when you need them, and integrate them into your greater marketing efforts.

When you’re done, you’ll:

  • Have an appreciation of the issues involved in specifying architectural and interiors photography as part of your firm's marketing and publicity efforts

  • Be aware of the major general approaches in architectural and interiors photography, their similarities and differences, and when to use each one

  • Learn how to prepare your projects and best practices in timing, staging, and postproduction for effective photography
